Spring time in the Elfin Forest

This is an original acrylic painting. I got inspired to paint "Spring time in the Elfin Forest" when a group of artist were asked to capture the beauty of the forest in a painting. My painting was chosen for the cover of the 2009 SWAP calender. The Elfin Forest is a 90-acre natural area, belonging to San Luis Obispo County Parks and California State Parks, situated on the Morro Bay Estuary. The Los Osos/Morro Bay Chapter of SWAP is a non-profit all-volunteer organization that works to maintain the Elfin Forest, to provide educational nature walks, and to inform the community of the value of land preservation. size is 24" x 48" price is $1,000.00 It is painted on a rap around canvas.
